Verre
eglomise is the traditional technique of back water gilding glass.
When distressed each leaf reveals its individual character, emphasised when
back painted. Laminated glass can have leaf and or other decoration trapped
between the layers for transparent structural walls with or without fine silk
to carry the colour.
